Under attack: Policeman injured in IED blast

According to an official of the bomb disposal unit, around five kilogrammes of explosives were used in the device.

PESHAWAR: A police constable was injured on Tuesday when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off near a police mobile in Sufaid Dheri. According to the police, a police vehicle was passing on Dora Road in the limits of Pishtakhara police station when the high-intensity IED exploded. Head constable Ejaz Khan sustained injuries and was shifted to a hospital. Following the incident, more police teams rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. A search operation was also initiated. According to an official of the bomb disposal unit, around five kilogrammes of explosives were used in the device.
