Arsalan lashed out at the PTI chief, saying he should be disqualified as a member of Parliament for not having "good morals".
He has sought copies of nomination papers Imran filed with the ECP before contesting in the 2002 and 2013 general elections.
"I believe totally that he grossly violated article 62 D,P, F read with 63 (2) of the Constitution – by not proving himself as a truthful person having a good moral character therefore he has rendered himself to be disqualified to be member of parliament," Dr Arsalan said, while speaking to the media outside the Election Commission Office on Monday.
Arsalan had filed a petition with the ECP office to request nomination papers and asset details of the PTI chief, according to Express News.
“I have requested the ECP for a copy of nomination documents of Imran Khan,” the former chief justice's son said.
"Imran Khan accused me of certain things for which he did not have evidence when I was given the position of vice chairman in the Balochistan Investment Board."
"I believe in documents, in concrete proof," Dr Arsalan said, adding, "I do not go by hear-say, I will not accuse a person of being corrupt based on hear-say."
Arsalan claims that Imran has not made any mention of his third child in his nomination papers, where one has to declare details of all dependents.
“In his nomination paper, he put the names of two of his children – Salman and Kasim. There is also another child – Tyrian Jade Khan – perhaps he has not disclosed her name," Dr Arslan alleged, while speaking to reporters.
Arsalan is likely to take up the issue of Imran's moral turpitude, presenting a foreign court order regarding his alleged child out of wedlock.
Following his talk with the media, he distributed copies of the reports he had attained.
Imran, once a staunch supporter of Iftikhar, now accuses him of involvement in rigging of last year’s general elections.
On July 6, The Express Tribune had learnt that the former chief justice decided to adopt legal course against Imran Khan for hurling serious allegations—rigging in general elections 2013—against him.
A close aide of Iftikhar Chaudhry told The Express Tribune that the former top judge has made his mind to sue Khan for dragging him in the controversy without any evidence. “A notice is almost ready to be sent to Imran Khan, “a family member of former chief justice confided toThe Express Tribune.
During the last days of his tenure as top judge, Chaudhry also served a contempt notice to PTI chief for terming the returning officers’ role in the general elections as “sharamnaak”.
Terming Imran Khan’s allegations as baseless, the former chief justice said that a chief justice has nothing to do with general elections. It was Election Commission of Pakistan’s duty to appoint Returning Officers to perform election duties, said Iftikhar Chaudhry. “Leveling the accusations without evidence is not appropriate. Bring proof on this count,” he had said.

Wow! I didnt think these guys would go so low as to attack IK's personal life! Shame shame shame!
IK instead of standing up and defending allegations is running away to London this month.
Sign of a brave leader as projected by boy & girl fans?
lets put legal implications of IK's disqualifications aside ............Is there a moral responsibilty on IK to come out and either defend this or accept the allegations?
The same moral values IK demands from other politicians ........and infact demands of their public hanging for non-compliance. How would he apply such principles to himslef?
I see its time for IK to immediately resign as MNA and hand over the party leadership to someone younger, cleaner and who can take PTI to new highs without tarnished image of IK
Both of them once sides of the same coin! HOW? Our superior judiciary (so called) translated word sharamnaak as NA-Munasib only because it was said by IK and at that time THEIR agenda was same but now......? If I say Zardari was right in his (X CJ) case by not reinstating him for long time every one would disagree, so enjoy the drama. BTW Taliban Khan used to say that Iftikhar Chaudhry (Not CJP) me and my whole party is behind you IF and only IF the matter is about a letter to Swiss Govt.
@Ch. Allah Daad: U sound like a sincere guy. Why didn't u give the same sincere "rider/helmet" advice to Ms M. Nawaz and Captain Safdar? We all know how that ended.
Imran is habitual of blaming, accusing and abusing others. He should control his tongue.
@Shahid: You explained the scheme of cowards. One right will stand in million wrong people. And that’s what Islam says, to uncover the wrong, because going silent and giving respect to wrong is being supportive. One should speak v loud and shout against wrong, the absence of which is the biggest dilemma of our country. Go Ahead IK
Bravo Arsalan
@MQM Trolls (u know who u are): Sure took u long enough to find this article, obviously u were fettered to the rally drama. Now that u've been handed back your CNICs u are free to troll online.
LOL, captives of ur own party, both physically and mentally. Poor souls.
@Aysha M: LOL @ Newsweek cover, probably for his notoriety than anything else. Is it the same head that has been declared a terrorist in Canada, and is being investigated for serious crimes including money laundering and murder in UK? Please talk some sense woman.
@Ch. Allah Daad: What about Captain Safdar, will you give same advice to him?
Who is he himself, other than son of Cheid Justice. Does media will coverage to regular guy like him ? -Misha
Will maryam nawaz qualify ? under 62 & 63 , she is incharge of 100 billion Rs funds
Someone told me in fact it was IK's such activities of 'mingling with variety of women' that has made him the leader that he is today.
Youth aged 20+ mostly follow IK is because they have heard good things about IK..... (like he is glamorous, good in what he does etc) at home when they were kids.
Imran started this war and will face the consequences. Like most of us, not only I liked his activities, I appreciated and wanted to be like him. "Jawani" is for the enjoyment and he used it with best of his abilities. However two thing which have been proven are that he was careless during those special moments and did not use precautionary methods. Every rider must wear helmet for safety reasons. Secondly, one must own his or her mistakes and come forward like a true brave person. With regard to these two points, I must say that he is a very ordinary person and hence do not deserve to be our leader.
@Shahid: Comment of the day..............."There is some thing wrong in IK central nervous system"
like they say......... As you sow so shall you reap.........Mind you the sort of language IK has been using and the baseless allegations he has been making up against others he may have a lot more like this to come his way!
OH NO .....does that mean our hero IK could be booted out of parliament? That will be so bad and break so many hearts as he is a hearth-throb of all his fans.
I pray he somehow gets out of this mess even if he has to say sorry to the son of Ex-CJP......and IK is very experienced in saying sorry and like a big man he is doesnt feel any shame ......like he said sorry for supporting Mush, to CJP when he took suo moto against him etc etc
Go for it IK say another sorry as we want to see you around
@God Bless!: I am so not concerned with his morality. we all know he has spent his youth chasing wickets or women or being chased by them. Its just the way he is handling it. Why does he not have the courage to make a statement that makes the issue dead or irrelevant forever. Not in the least interested in judging his character as in personal life, his public life is considered here
Spit on the moon and see what happens !!
There is some thing wrong in IK central nervous system. This system is controlled by some one who put wrong signals in it and as a reaction the brain starts sending wrong signals to speak loudly against every one. Imran Khan should understand one thing every person has got a self respect and you are not the one to say every one corrupt. He should change his attitude and pay respect to every one and get respect. If you will push some one in a tight corner, what do you think he will keep quite no he will also do some thing to get out of it and this is what it happened. Don't think so that you will now get out of it easily. Good Luck
@Aysha M: Why is it so important to you? Morality is not demanded in professionalism but "professionalism" is. Remember corruption and theft from national treasure is real public loss not mistakes of youth!
I personally think Choudry Iftikhar has done a remarkable job and now it is so sad that Imran Khan who once was my hero without any proof hurling allegations against each and everyone who is coming in his figurative and imaginary mind. He should not loose the cool and fight it the way it should be concentrate on 2 things how to get quick results from tribunal and if ink is not verifiable then why and who is responsible.I fully support an impartial panel to examine that. In this way all petitions including his 4 will bring to conclusion without any unnecessary hearsay.
As far as Arslan is concerned though he has complete right to respond when Imran is alleging him infront of millions of people but please Arslan do not take low aim at Imran's private life like this .Very important character in this is the child which no one is taking into account and do you think Arslan what kind of impact on her will be with all this and her future? Disagree with Imran and you have right to respond the way you choose but this way is deplorable. If your father sees this I urge him to stop Arslan in the name of human decency to refrain from this uncultured and ugly attack. I condemn all politiicans and opponents of Imran who attack him this way though I am in total diaagreement with Imran's tactics nowadays as they are not civil, legal and any legs.Weight of some anchors and Sheikh Rashid will drown him.He should rose above this mud and act like leader.Imran please refrain form allegation politics.
Like father like son - both not worth a second thought
They should do away with 62 & 63, implementation of which will do away with entire assemblies, except of one political party and the head, currently found on the cover of Newsweek
Why cant IK just come out in the open and say out loud if he has anything or everything to do with the existence of that poor thing. I wonder what she goes through each time she hears of this. Very unfortunate
When these parties PMLN and MQM cannot bring any proof against Imran Khan financial corruption than all they can do is to target him personal life or his hospital. Cheap tactics were the part of 90s now it only gonna back fired you because of media.
@Raj - USA: This is not the proper context for your comment. Be choosy.
He is a front man of PML-N.
I have commented many times that Musharraf made many mistakes but he did two things very correctly. The two things he did correctly was his action of the Chief Justice and on Lal Masjid. Unfortunately for him, he is being pulled up on those very two things he did correctly.
“I believe totally that he grossly violated article 62 D,P, F read with 63 (2) of the Constitution – by not proving himself as a truthful person having a good moral character therefore he has rendered himself to be disqualified to be member of parliament" then everyone should be disqualified. What a joke of a statement.
@Ozair: Apt analysis... Like father like son.
@Naseem: You have to dig old papers, before they disappear too, along with the original notes of witnesses & collaborators. While you're there, also check $millions permits for morphine production to Pharmaceuticals the like of Indian Pharma Scams. The total sum was so huge it had to be deposited thru direct bank transfer into overseas account. Montecarlo trip was part of the celebration-cum-investment along with, of course family shopping in Europe.
What about Monte Carlo saga???
Welcome to the new spokesperson of PML-N
Both father and son will soon be in real trouble only because of their relationship with PML-N.
Sharif paid for the Judiciary Moment...All lawyers, protestors were paid with the money Sharif family sucked from Pakistani Nation (Iteefaq, Itehad industry, Yellow cab, Motorway kick backs, Mehran bank, steel mills, sugar mills, London properties and thousand more). Chief Justice paid with the election commission postings and rigging in election to make sure Sharif family wins. Sharif family wanted to return the favor with Arsalan posting. Imran Khan opened the can of worms. Sharif probably told Arsalan that he tried his best to make wolf the shepard but Imran Khan ruined it for him. So if he can the Chief Justice influence on courts and get Imran Khan disqualified and they will give him his post back. Simple as that...
Very stupid of Arsalan to take this route. IK may have moral weakness but he did not indulge in financial corruption that has cost the country.
Good step by Arslan.
Lying a disqualification? There would be nobody left.
Everyone should be scrutinized for allegations according to law and justice shall prevail, whether its IK or Arsalan Iftikhar
Do your worst - Imran Khan is bulletproof!
@abc: I strongly believe it's about time; This Father & Sin Duo to be taken to court & fully exposed. They enjoyed enough freedom already. Btw, who said CJ had nothing to with EC decision? He had everything to do with other institutions. Wasn't he the person whose Sou-Moto were falling everywhere? Who challenged all transfers & postings? Who also stepped beyond his institutional responsibilities, wherever it effected PMLn.? Let's start with Arsalan's controversial admission due to low grades, in medical college after his father's request.
It is better to remain quiet and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and confirm it.
New spokesperson for PML-N
Just wait for 14 August 2014
This is one very interesting complain, lets see the result
IK should try the former CJ under article 6 and this guy under forgery, tax evasion and fraud.
Imran is no Haji, but that doesn't make you a saint either.
Seems like his "prosperous" business is not thriving anymore after the retirement of his father, and he badly needed the BIB vice presidentship, to jumpstart it again.
@Racer, the only sane comment.
That simply shows his ties with PML-N :-)
IK and PTI should have avoided mudslinging on the ex-CJ. IK will now have to face the music in the courts for lying and not disclosing his illegitimate daughter in the nomination papers when running for elections. If pressed by the courts IK will have to resign. IK only has himself to blame for this unnecessary mess. This is what happens when u pick up a fight with everyone. Let the election tribunals do their job.
good one" pious" person want to expose another "pious " !
dude, you are just creating more troubles for you. Just sit back and enjoy your Billions and please do take care of your old man after all he is the sole reason of your success.
Dear sir your father was not the owner but a servant of law and tax payers, and Pakistan is a democracy
And which of the lawmakers & politicians can claim to be as per article 62 & 63 of the constitution ?
Look, who is talking about morals.
If article 63 was applicable to judges sir your father wouldn't have made a judge
If article 63 was applicable to judges sir your father wouldn't have made a judge.
This is getting interesting
This is so funny. All this is well trodden and very old territory that did not bring results when MQM and others tried it before.
These are old pre-1999 era tactics that PMLN has not shed, even though the world has moved on.
It is also clear to everyone that PMLN is egging this on through pushing channels to take him on their talk shows, even though these very channels were previously distributing materials about his corrupt practices.
This further reinforces the nexus between ex CJ and PMLN despite protestations to the contrary.
Very funny.
Why he is crying ??...Ohhh on his RESIGNATION, must be. What a pampered soul !!
Seems very angry on loosing 'Golden' post in Blochistan.
This is what happens when you pick up a fight with everyone around you. Imran should focus more on governance in KPK and ensure electoral reforms are brought in a peaceful wayNo need to start personal fights with everyone. Shame that such a mature and educated individual acts so childishly when it comes to national politics.
OK. Good step. Now set an example by first explaining your billions, how you got them and disclose how much tax you have paid on the billions.
And that's the best shot you can take at his past life?
Im not even a PTI supporter, but of all the corrupt people in our country, why should Imran be disqualified? What about all the other liars and cheats in parliament or other powerful people, like your own father for that matter, who was being charged by the Musharraf government? Maybe the government was right to suspect the old CJ
Lolz. Somebody is angry at being forced out of a very lucrative position.
