Interfering: Six sent on judicial remand

The other party accused the police of implicating them in a false case.

Six persons have been sent to jail on judicial remand for allegedly interfering official work and protesting outside industrial area police station. They were presented before a local judge who sent them to jail on judicial remand.


The Industrial area police have booked 24 persons and arrested six of them for allegedly interfering in official work. However, the suspects accused the police of implicating their relatives in false cases. According to ASI Arshad, Aashir Ghauri and others were booked on the order of I-9 SHO, for allegedly interfering in official work by protesting outside I-9 police station and blocking road for the release of two of their relatives arrested by the police.


The other party accused the police of implicating them in a false case. They claimed the police are blackmailing them and seeking bribe for the release of Ayaz Ghauri and Chanda Ghouri  whom, they claimed, have been detained in a false case.
