Action demanded: Anti-encroachment dept sets up 12 camps across city

Karachi administrator has instructed anti-encroachments officials to keep taking timely action against encroachments.

Following the directives of Karachi administrator Rauf Akhtar Farooqui, the anti-encroachments department of KMC has setup 12 camps in the city where action will be taken against encroachments and professional beggary.


The Karachi administrator has instructed the anti-encroachments officials to keep taking timely action against the encroachments in the commercial centres of the city especially during Ramazan and remove all roadside push carts.


The anti-encroachments department has set up special camps around the busiest commercial centres in the city watch for the establishment of encroachments and take immediate action against them. The camps have been setup in district central at Haideri Market, Sindhi Hotel, Liaquatabad Super Market, Water Pump and Nazimabad Chowrangi. In district South the camps were established at Jama Cloth Market, Saddar, Empress Market and in district East at Tariq Road and Liaquat Market.
