School’s out, and chances are you’re bored of the TV shows you’ve been watching for the past five years (Big Bang Theory, anyone?) Here are some of the shows which have premiered this summer. Trust us; you don’t want to miss out on these.

Set in London during the Victorian Era, Penny Dreadful feature’s character’s straight out of literature, such as Dracula and Dr Frankenstein. executively produced by Oscar winner Sam Mendes, and starring familiar faces such as Josh Hartnett, this is one to watch is you like fantasy and gore.

Similar to: New Girl, Community

This one is for the boys. About a confident ladies man Danny, whose new roommate Justin is the exact opposite. Justin’s friends are also in the same boat, and Danny takes it upon himself to teach the guys everything he knows about the ‘game of love.’ Chaos and comedy ensues as Danny’s advice is taken either to literally, or wrongly interpreted.

Girl Meets World



Genre: Family

Similar to: Boy Meets World, Friends, How I Met Your Mother

Who can forget Cory and Topanga’s iconic relationship in Boy Meets World? What’s even more adorable is that the characters got married in real life! Now, in Girl Meets World, Cory and Topanga return as parents, raising their own daughter Riley. If you’re looking for a fresh spin on a classic, this one’s definitely for you.
