ATTOCK: Three teenagers drowned in Haro River on Saturday. Police say that Urooj Bibi, her brother Jabran Abbas, and their cousin Umer Riffat had gone for a picnic along with other family members to the bank of Haro River. While picnicking, they went into deep waters and drowned. Their dead bodies were recovered by Rescue 1122. In another incident, a teenage-boy Abdullah r/o village Sirka was allegedly killed by his friends. In yet another incident, an Afghan refugee was shot dead by unknown gunmen. Meanwhile, the residents of village Mirza protested against police for failing to arrest the killers of Irfan who was shot dead on April 21 this year.
