First child born in IDP camp named after the operation: Azb Khan

BANNU: A baby boy born to a Pakistani mother displaced along with her family by the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, was named Azb Khan after the operation, according to foreign and local wires.

This was the first maternity case reported from a camp set up for internally displaced persons in Bakakhel area in the northwestern town of Bannu.

Azb is reportedly the sword used by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Battle of Badar.

At present, 466,00 internally displaced persons have been registered, the DG ISPR said as people flee the area to escape the operation.

hope IDPs are provided with all the care.

Thought of people being displaced from their homes in this heat, makes me extremely sad.

May Allah help them and all of the Ummah and mankind.
