Repatriated From Bagram: Psychiatric test ordered for prisoner
The court adjourned the hearing until June 27 and directed the ministry.
LAHORE:
Lahore High Court on Wednesday directed the Ministry of the Interior to arrange for a psychiatric test of a detainee repatriated from the Bagram prison in Afghanistan, presently detained at Sahiwal Central Jail. Barrister Sarah Belal said one of the detainees Iftikhar Ahmed suffered from mental illness. She said the prolonged investigation process was aggravating his condition. The court adjourned the hearing until June 27 and directed the ministry.
