Target killing: Traffic cop shot dead

Khan was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) where he succumbed to his wounds.

PESHAWAR:


A traffic police sub-inspector (SI) was shot dead on Friday morning. SI Abdul Sattar Khan was gunned down by motorcyclists on Pajjagi Road.


Police officials said it was an incident of target killing. Khan was en route from the traffic police headquarters to Tablighi Markaz for duty when unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at him, leaving him severely injured. Khan was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) where he succumbed to his wounds.
