Peshawar police post comes under grenade attack

Of the two hand grenades one hit the main gate, while the other managed to explode inside.

PESHAWER: Unknown miscreants threw two hand grenades at a police post in Tauheedahad situated within the jurisdiction of Yakatot police station.

Of the two hand grenades one hit the main gate, while the other managed to explode inside the post.

After the attack police resorted to firing in the air which caused further panic among the residents.

No casualty or injuries were reported after the incident however the attackers managed to escape, “there was no casualty as a result of the attack and the attackers also managed to escape after tossing the grenades,” said an official of the local police station while talking to the Express Tribune.
