NEW DEHLI: Looks like Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra is hell-bent on proving his mettle in the world of entertainment. Ahead of the release of his forthcoming film Ek Villain, Sidharth is all set to make his television debut as the host of Ek Villain Ek Daastan, where he’ll take viewers through the lives of some of Bollywood’s most loved baddies.

Sidharth is excited about his stint on the small screen, but more than that, he is “honoured to be a part of discovering Bollywood’s iconic villains and Ek Villain Ek Daastan is so much more than just a show” to him.

“We, as actors, draw inspiration from our seniors and veterans and I am lucky that I have received this opportunity to learn more about their journey hands-on,” said the actor, who made his Bollywood debut with Student Of The Year (2012).

Villains have been an integral part of Bollywood. From their unique looks to amusing dialogues, these bad boys have made their own place in the industry and have attracted a fan following over the course of time.

Sidharth will take viewers through the journey of unforgettable anti-heroes such as Amrish Puri, Amjad Khan, Gulshan Grover, Shakti Kapoor, Ranjeet, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sanjay Dutt, Danny Danzongapa, Prem Chopra, Ajit, and Pran.

The show will be aired on Bollywood entertainment channel Zoom starting Monday. In honour of these iconic Bollywood villains, Zoom has collated their individual filmography, on-screen memories, behind-the-scene events and interesting stories about them.
