Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Sunday a modern transport system was essential to provide quality travelling facilities to people.


Speaking to a delegation of Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz parliamentarians and workers, he said after the success of Metro Bus Service, a metro train would be launched in Lahore. “The 27-kilometre Orange Line Metro Train project will give the city a new identity.” He said initially 250,000 people would benefit from the project. He said the Rawalpindi-Islamabad metro bus project would be completed in 10 months.
