Actor Alia Bhatt is walking on crutches these days due to a calf muscle injury, but that’s not stopping her from promoting her forthcoming film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

“For all those asking, thank you, my leg is much better!! It’s a calf muscle injury... I will be back to normal in no time. Love you all,” she tweeted on Saturday, reported IANS.

The actor was spotted on crutches when she stepped out to take a metro ride with her Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania co-star Varun Dhawan here earlier this week.

Alia reportedly injured herself while shooting a song.

Varun helped her get to the metro, but her photographs ended up leaving her fans worried, leading her to update them about her health.

Varun is also going all out in promoting the film. He isn’t getting married, but he is all set to throw a bachelor party. The celebrations are part of a promotional strategy for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

The party will be held June 20, in collaboration with MTV. Talking about it, the cheerful 27-year-old actor said: “On June 20, we have planned a very big thing with MTV. I am throwing a bachelor party. I will be there and I will dance with everyone,” reported the Hindustan Times.

The Student of the Year star spoke at a radio studio where he was present with his co-star Alia Bhatt. The two were there to promote their upcoming film. “Please, everyone is invited. So on Saturday night, there is going to be a lot of dance and masti (fun),” added Varun.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania produced by Karan Johar, is directed by Shashank Khaitan. It will be released on July 11.
