Fake certificates: 50 DHQ hospital employees sacked

Crackdown against employees who secured jobs using fake degrees.

FAISALABAD: As many as 50 employees of Faisalabad District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital were relieved from service on charges of securing employment using fake educational certificates.

DHQ Hospital spokesman Mubashir Habib told The Express Tribune that they had worked as ward boys, sanitary workers, watchmen and water boys since 2010. He said Punjab Medical College Principal Riaz Hussain Dubb had ordered a crackdown against employees who had secured jobs using fake diplomas and formed a committee for this purpose. He said the committee had found that 50 people had submitted bogus certificates and recommended that they be dismissed from service.

They were indentified as Irfan Samuel, Jamshed Ahmad, Aslam Ali, Rahatullah, Adnan Ali, Sofia Kashmir, Khizar Hayat, Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Ehsanullah Soni, Irfan Ali, Muhammad Shehbaz, Luqman, Azeem Mashi, Javaid Mashi, Adnan Manzoor, Muhammad Irfan, Yasir Mukhtar, Hafiz Umair Rauf, Tauseef Nisar, Muhammad Zaheer Babar, Imran Fayyaz Ahmad, Muhammad Ahmad, Muhammad Haneef, Sarfaz Anwar, Haroonur Rasheed, Adnan Hussain, Muhammad Shahid, Muhammad Nazir Hussain, Ghulam Mustafa, Rehana Parvaiz, Muhammad Bilal, Farha Naz, Saif Ali, Anwaarul Haq, Muhammad Israr Khan, Abdul Waheed, and Waseem Sajid.
