The Wah Cantt police on Saturday arrested 10 suspects including gamblers and seized stake money, drugs and weapons from their possession.
Acting on a tip-off, a police party, raided a gambling den in a local market and arrested Aslam, Ghulam Khan, Muhammad Din, Ansar, Ashaq and Javed along with Rs16,310 cash and playing cards.
Meanwhile, the same police seized eight bottles of liquor from Haroon Rashid, six bottles from Muhammad Sohail, a 30-pistol with two bullets from Kamran Lodhi and a 30-pistol with three bullets from Khalid Khurshid. Separate cases have been registered against them under the relevant laws and investigations are under way, said a press release.
