Faisalabad search operation: 23 suspects arrested from airport area

The 23 suspects including eight proclaimed offenders.

FAISLABAD: The police claimed to have arrested 23 suspects including eight proclaimed offenders during a search operation in the adjacent areas of the Faisalabad airport on Tuesday. Talking to the media, City Police Officer (CPO) Dr Haidar Ashraf confirmed that the security in and around the airport has been beefed up following the Karachi airport attack. He added that the additional forces were deputed for patrolling the premises. A search operation was also conducted at the airport and its surrounding areas on Tuesday.
