KARACHI:

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, along with provincial information minister Sharjeel Memon and former provincial minister Syed Owais Muzaffar, reached the airport on the instructions of former president Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.  DG Rangers Maj-Gen Rizwan Akhtar accompanied them.

After reviewing the security operation, the chief minister told the media that his administration stood by the valiant soldiers of Pakistan Army, paramilitary rangers and police. “A handful of terrorists want to weaken Pakistan – but we’ll frustrate their evil designs,” he added.

He condemned the dastardly attack and paid glowing tributes to the ASF personnel who laid down their lives fighting the attackers.

Speaking on the occasion, Owais Muzaffar said that “terrorists cannot demoralize the Pakistani nation”. He added that the entire nation was standing shoulder to shoulder to their armed forces.
