BAHAWALPUR: A man was attacked with acid late on Saturday night. Khadim Hussain, a resident of Mubarakpur, told police that he and his family were asleep at home when three men scaled the wall of their house and threw acid at him. They later fled. Hussain said that he did not get a chance to see who the men were and did not know why they had attacked him. He said his brother took him to the Mubarakpur rural health centre. He said he was later referred to Bahawal Victoria Hospital because his legs were badly burnt by the acid. Naushera Jadeed Station House Officer (SHO) Tahir Mehmood Khan visited Hussain in the hospital and recorded his statement.
