Going places ‘Multan to get metro bus next’

Gondal said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was keen on early completion of the Faisalabad-Multan motorway.

MULTAN: “The chief minister will announce a metro bus project for Multan during his visit to the city on Thursday (today),” DCO Zahid Saleem Gondal said on Wednesday.

He was addressing newsmen at the circuit house.

He said a Turkish firm and the Metro Bus Project managing director had proposed three routes for the metro bus in Mutlan and a final decision in this regard would be made after consultation with the city government.

Gondal said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was keen on early completion of the Faisalabad-Multan motorway.

He said the government had ordered him to issue notices on land acquisition for the Multan-Karachi motorway.

He said Rs90 million would be spent for the renovation of Old Shujaabad Road.

He said funds had also been allocated for renovation of public libraries including Bagh Langay Khan and Kuhna Qasim.

Multan has no need metro because multan is no industrial city 30 billio spent on eletricity which is basic need our country

i wished if they would have spent this money on improving the economy .because that is the crux of all problems in pakistan .if people have enough money they can buy their own cars!or whatever
