Talking to a delegation of Insaf Youth Wing (IYW) that called on the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief minister at the CM Secretariat on Saturday, Pervez Khattak asserted the new budget would be a true reflection of the aspirations of the people.

He said it would be a tax-free and welfare budget despite the meagre resources available, claiming his government was working round the clock to change the system.

He assured the provincial government would implement the schemes of youth empowerment, revive the youth assembly, hold youth leadership conferences and launch provincial internship programmes on the pattern of the National Internship Programme (NIP).

Khattak also said the government wants to enable its educated youth to become employers and investors.

The chief minister vowed that besides executing mega development plans, improving social services and ameliorating the problems of the people, especially the poor, comprehensive schemes of skills and jobs for the youth have been included in the new ADP.

Similarly, he said that the quality of primary and higher education as well as technical training would be given special attention in the new fiscal year.

Adviser to Chief Minister on Economic Affairs, Rafaqatullah Babar, MPA Zareen Zia and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf K-P Secretary General Khalid Masood were also present on the occasion.
