ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony passed a unanimous resolution on Wednesday, condemning the desecration of three Hindu temples in Mirpurkhas, Sindh. With no respite in violence against minorities’ places of worship in Sindh, the panel said the sentiments of the Hindus were deeply scarred by the recent incidents. The committee demanded the culprits be brought to justice, while the issue be raised at the appropriate forum and a thorough investigation should be conducted.
