Defaulting dues: MEPCO cuts supply to WASA offices

In Cantt, WASA owed MEPCO Rs65 million.

MULTAN: Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has disconnected dozens of connections of WASA offices over non-payment of over Rs156 millions in dues. According to MEPCO sources, the company had given a deadline to WASA for payment of pending dues but no payments were made during that time. In Cantt, WASA owed MEPCO Rs65 million. Similarly, over Rs26 millions were owed by WASA at Mumtazabad division. In City Division, WASA owed MEPCO Rs32 million. In Musa park, Rs31 million were owed by WASA.
