Encouraging education: PM Nawaz to reimburse students’ fees

Twelve research scholars from Karachi University and five from the NED University will also receive the reimbursement.

HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will hand over fee reimbursement cheques to students of seven universities of Karachi, Hyderabad and Jamshoro at a ceremony in Sindh University on June 3. As many as 3,184 students of postgraduate and MPhil degree programmes will receive the cheques under the ‘Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Less Developed Areas’. The recipients include 2,028 students from Sindh University, 553 from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, 543 from Sindh Agriculture University, 40 from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences and three from Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi. Twelve research scholars from Karachi University and five from the NED University will also receive the reimbursement.
