Electoral reforms: Grand alliance will be formed, says Elahi

It was the first time that candidates were not allowed to sit in the rooms of ROs.

Former chief minister of Punjab and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Pervaiz Elahi has said that a grand alliance will be formed for electoral reforms. Speaking in Express News progaramme Bat se Bat, he said that he had informed Imran Khan of the possible rigging adding that polls were rigged in all the constituencies of Punjab. It was the first time that candidates were not allowed to sit in the rooms of ROs. He said that 5,000 to 7,000 votes of PML-Q were rejected in every constituency while strangely no votes of the opponents were rejected. There were discrepancies in the results reported by the presiding and returning officers.
