HARIPUR: Officials of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a hotelier for using an illegal power connection for his resort in Khanpur on Monday. Qazi Hameed, an assistant director at FIA’s Hazara zone, said that based on intelligence reports, a team raided the Lake View Resort Hotel near Khanpur Dam and caught the owner using electricity through a kunda. He said the hotel was consuming five kilowatts of electricity and not paying any dues to the government. The hotel owner, identified as Shahbaz Sarwar, was arrested.
