Monetary dispute: Two friends shot dead

BANNU: Two men were gunned down over a financial dispute in Kaki area of the district on Monday morning. Salim Khan, an official of the Kaki police, said family members of Saadullah and Shakeeb filed a report with the police stating that both friends were sitting outside Saadullah’s house when the accused, Khalid, armed with an AK-47, approached and began arguing with the two over a monetary matter. The official said as the argument heated up, Khalid shot Saadullah and Shakeeb, killing them on the spot, and escaped the scene.
