Anniversary: ‘ICMAP contributing to economic development’

Chairman said that the fraternity of the management accountants has now its presence all over the world.

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) commemorated its 63rd anniversary as “Management Accountant Day” to mark the institute’s professional excellence in providing modern management accounting in the country, said a press release.


ICMAP Vice President Ghulam Mustafa Qazi said that ICMAP was contributing to the economic development of the country while preserving its strong code of professional ethics.

CPDC Chairman Abdul Khalil said that “today we can say with proud that the management accountants’ speciality towards cost management and management accounting made them part of the strategic and decision making team where nucleus of future direction depends on effective utilisation of resources to achieve cost effectiveness for sustainable economic growth”.

Chairman Waqar Ali Khan said that the fraternity of the management accountants has now its presence all over the world.  Vice Chairman Muhammad Imran said that cost accountants were playing a significant role in the development of the economy.
