
Fawad Alam top scored for Pakistan at 59 not out, followed by Imran Farhat who scored 47. Morne Morkel was the leading wicket taker with four wickets for 47 runs.
Earlier, South Africa had made 228 for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs. Pakistan Captain Shahid Afrid had won the toss and had elected to field.
Top scorer for the Proteas was Hashim Amla, who scored 119 runs on 126 balls, while Shoaib Akhtar took three wickets for the Pakistan side, with both Afridi and Muhammad Hafeez acquiring two wickets each.
South Africa lead the series 2-1.
Pakistan managed an improbable victory in the last match owing to a brilliant knock by Abdul Razzaq, who made 109 runs.
Meanwhile, this match is important for Shahi Afridi’s career as well as he currently stands one six away from having hit the most number of sixes in all forms of cricket.
