KARACHI: Pakistan’s largest paper and paperboard company Century Paper and Board Mills Limited has inked an agreement with Peoples Republic of China’s power construction firm RUNH Power Corporation (Private). This agreement would enable the country to receive engineering, procurement and commissioning services for a coal based co-generation power plant, which will generate 18MW. The plant will be first of its kind in Pakistan and, when operational, will cater for the energy (steam plus electricity) requirement for its board machine (PM-7).
