KARACHI: Administrator Rauf Akhtar Farooqui reinstated 17 officers from different departments of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation to their previously held positions on Monday. According to sources, the officers include Lines Area project director Vikash, engineering department chiefs Attaullah Channa, Raheem Sheikh and Samiullah Khan, engineering department official Khalid Masroor, Karachi Development Authority recovery director Qavi Khan, budget director Jameel Ahmed, legal advisory directors Azra Muqeem, Sultan Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed, senior legal adviser Saman Zahid, Abbasi Shaheed Hospital medical superintendent Imran Hamdani, KDA finance and accounts director Qaiser Imam, Surjani Town project director Israr Ali, Karachi mass transit director Fazal Karim, parks senior director Tahir Durrani, and human resources director Shoaib Waqar.
