Official action: Anti-encroachment drive today
Anti-encroachment drive was conducted from GT Road to Phandu Chowk and several illegally built shops were demolished.

The district administration of Peshawar will carry out another anti-encroachment operation on Ring Road on Tuesday morning (today). Peshawar Commissioner Munir Azam has directed all encroachments on Ring Road from GT Road to Hayatabad be removed. Azam has directed all additional assistant commissioners and officers of Peshawar Development Authority to reach the area with police and heavy machinery to carry out the second phase of an ongoing drive. Assistant Commissioner Mumtaz Gul has been appointed the focal person for the campaign. On Saturday, an anti-encroachment drive was conducted from GT Road to Phandu Chowk and several illegally built shops were demolished.
