According to a Khasadar official, the deceased were believed to be members of a peace committee. Muhammad Naeem Khan, an official of the political administration Ekka Ghund sub-division, said the bodies were shifted to Rural Health Centre, Ekka Ghund.
An injured man was also found near the bodies and was taken to a hospital in Peshawar for medical assistance.
Further investigations into the incident are underway.
Peace committee members shot dead
On the evening of May 15, two unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle had shot a peace committee member dead in Mingora, Swat.
On April 22, unidentified motocyclists had gunned down a peace committee member in Jehangirabad area of Faqirabad.
