Fatal drop: Three family members die in accident

SUKKUR: Three members of a family including minor children died and six others were injured, when a rickshaw fell into Dad Branch near Mauladad Mobejo village, Naushero Feroze on Saturday. A family from Kalhoro station was travelling in a Qingqi rickshaw to Mauladad Mobejo village when the rickshaw driver lost control of the vehicle while crossing the bridge and fell into Dad Branch. Five of the passengers - Bibi Hakeeman, wife of Akbar Shah, Bibi Sheher Bano, wife of Hassan Shah, Bibi Waziran, wife of Mehmood Shah, Bibi Hajra, Saifullah and rickshaw driver Ehsan - were rescued by nearby villagers. The bodies of Ubaidullah Shah, 22, and four-year-old Sidra and three-year-old Hassan were recovered later. The injured were shifted to Naushero Feroze hospital.
