KARACHI:

The Pakistan football team is hoping for the arrival of their coach Mohammad Shamlan before their next match, after they secured an impressive 3-0 win against Sri Lanka in the Al-Nakba International Football Tournament being played in Palestine.

Shamlan has been stuck in Amman, Jordan for more than two days as the Israeli authorities did not give him clearance to travel to Palestine for the competition.

However, things can change as Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has now involved Fifa and AFC in the matter.

Pakistan next play Jordan on Wednesday and will look to build on the good start to the tournament.
