The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has stated that it will soon launch three mega projects in the city.
The projects are a high-rise tower on Jail Road and luxury apartments and an amusement park at the Financial and Trade Centre in Johar Town. For these projects, the development authority would provide land in equity while private partners will be responsible for the design, finance, construction, marketing, sale and management of the project. The tower on Jail Road, to be named LDA Tower, would be built on 11 kanals of land. It would be a multiple-purpose building featuring a revolving restaurant on roof.
Luxury apartments will be built on an 8.4-acre plot at the Finance and Trade Centre. The LDA also plans to develop an amusement park on 9.25 acres at the centre in Johar Town.
