Official visit: Nawaz to leave for Iran on Sunday
Special focus would be attached to strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and Iran.
ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will pay a two-day official visit to Iran from May 11 to 12, on the invitation of President Hassan Rouhani. This would be the first leadership-level visit since the formation of new governments in the two countries, said a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday. During the visit, the leadership-level discussions would provide the two sides an opportunity to review bilateral relations. Special focus would be attached to strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and Iran.
