The students of grade 1 to 4 using their creativity and skills had eye-catching and stunning projects by using waste material like newspapers, empty tissue boxes, jars, bottles, sacks, cartons, juice boxes, tins, bottle lids and other material in individual and collective projects.

Projects in blue, green, red, yellow and white colour schemes included pencil-holders, jewellery boxes, photo frames, wall clocks, dustbins, paper bags, toy cars, hand bags, book shelves, wall hangings, pin holders, table mats, candle stands and dry arrangements.

A large number of parents showed up to witness the day-long exhibition to admire the efforts of the students and the teachers.

GSIS Principal Quratulain Ali Rizvi said that the exhibition was the outcome of a collective effort by teachers, students and their parents with a message that “nothing is waste and useless in this world”.

Visiting parents said that such events help students polish their artistic skills besides boosting their confidence.
