Fatal festivities: One killed, two injured in aerial firing

Man killed, 2 others injured including minor boy in celebratory firing in district Shikarpur.

SUKKUR: A man was killed and two others, including a minor boy, were injured in celebratory firing in Soomar Mahar village, district Shikarpur, on Thursday afternoon. Mushtaq Mahar had gone to the village with his family and friends to marry his son, Fida Hussain Mahar, with the daughter of Nek Muhammad Mahar. People started aerial firing to express their jubilance and some stray bullets hit Mushtaq, Manzoor and a minor, Zuhaib. All three were taken to Civil Hospital, Sukkur, while Mushtaq succumbed to his injuries on the way.
