It stated that all her family members had left the house to harvest wheat in their fields when Safdar Qureshi, brother of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Deputy Speaker Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi, and his accomplice Asmatullah barged into her house and allegedly thrashed and raped her.

“They beat me up first and then raped me,” Farahnaz told the police. The SHO said a case was filed under sections 376, 452 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code and a search was launched to nab the accused.

Following directions of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak... Atleast its not like Punjab or Sindh where members of MPAs are protected by the governments. Everyone is equal under the law as demonstrated by CM Khattak.
