Family feud: Two brothers gunned down

Two brothers were shot dead while a shopkeeper was injured in Garmunara area of Swabi Tuesday night.

SWABI: Two brothers were shot dead while a shopkeeper was injured in Garmunara area of Swabi Tuesday night. Sher Ali and Gul Muhammad filed a case at Zaida police station saying their cousins Hussain Muhammad, Muhammad Shaheen and Yousaf Muhammad opened fire at Ali and Gul’s brothers Momin Khan and Zulfiqar Ali when they were present at a shop owned by Amanullah. Both Momin and Zulfiqar died on the spot while Amanullah sustained injuries. The FIR, however, did not state the motive behind the attack. In a separate incident, an Afghan refugee, Najibullah, allegedly killed his wife in Gandaf refugee camp. The deceased was the mother of three children while the accused was said to be involved in an illicit relationship with another woman, according to the police. No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.
