Science and Technology: IYCr2014 South Asia Summit held

KARACHI: The International Year of Crystallography 2014 South Asia Summit meeting on ‘Vistas in Structural Chemistry’ held on April 2 saw the participants unanimously agreeing to work on certain objectives of the IYCr2014.

It was agreed in the concluding ceremony to work on ensuring extensive regional and international cooperation in the field of x-ray diffraction, crystallography, drug design and discovery. Over 350 senior scientists, researchers and scholars from 20 countries participated in the meeting.
