LAHORE: Muhammad Akram, father of former cricket captain Wasim Akram, passed away on Wednesday after a prolonged illness.
His funeral prayers were held on Wednesday after Isha prayers. Wasim Akram is in the UAE where he is serving as a bowling consultant for the Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premiere League.
