Offloaded: 4 held for travelling on forged papers

FIA Punjab said the four passengers had been apprehended by the immigration staff at Allama Iqbal Airport.

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration staff arrested four passengers when they tried to travel abroad on forged documents. 

FIA Punjab Director Dr Usman Anwar said the four passengers had been apprehended by the immigration staff at Allama Iqbal International Airport.

Passengers Adeel Ishaq and Muhammad Hasnain were arrested as they tried to travel to Mozambique on forged visas via flight PA-411. Another passenger, Naseer, who tried to travel to Saudi Arabia via flight PK-759 on a forged Pakistani passport was offloaded.

A man named Amir Ahmed, who was booked on flight EK-624 was offloaded for holding a fake Mexican passport in the name of Faisal Sami and a forged visa to Pakistan. US $176,100 and 124,000 euros were recovered from him.
