Shootout: Three killed, one injured

Shootout in Bannu between two rivals groups results in three killings.

BANNU: Three people were killed and one injured in a shootout between rival groups over a long-standing matter in Township, Bannu on Sunday. Township police official Muhammad Noor told The Express Tribune the firing began at 10am in the Muhajir Camp area between the Atta Muhammad and Tayyabullah groups.Atta Muhammad and his partner Zari Baz were killed. Tayyabullah was also killed in the exchange of fire while his accomplice Asmatullah was injured and taken to Bannu District Headquarters Hospital in critical condition. The official said cases were filed against both groups and further investigation is under way.
