The police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested 26 drug pushers and seized narcotics and illegal weapons from them. A police spokesman said raiding teams from various police stations had arrested Imran, Sarfraz, Aziz Khan, Gul Zamir, GulSher, Ramazan, Sarfraz, Ashraf Jalap, Ikraam Ullah, Muhammad Asif and Bilal Hassan, Muhammad Sarfraz, Muhammad Nasir, Akbar, Muhammad Arshed, Muhammad Usman, Muhammad Umar, Mumtaz Ahmed, Hadayat Ullah and Aamer Shahzad, Saqlain Shah, Mazhar Abbas, Ahsan Raza and Asad Abbas. He said they had seized 1,331 grams heroin, 1,869 grams hashish, 480 gram opium and 13 weapons, including pistols, shotguns, revolvers, a repeater and a Kalashnikov.
