Road accident in Rahim Yar Khan claims 5 lives

Speeding van crashes into a truck parked on the road.

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Five people were killed and 10 others sustained injuries when a van collided with a truck in Rahim Yar Khan on Wednesday, Express News reported.

The speeding van coming from Sadiqabad crashed into a truck that was parked on the road.

The injured who are reportedly in critical condition were immediately shifted to a hospital.

Pakistan has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving. In recent days, the country has witnessed sharp rise in the number of such deadly accidents.

Reckless driving cost these damages and why the truck was standing just on the road can't the pick on the sidelines of the road to avoid such mishaps.
