Saving the children: Five runaway children find shelter

The children are Amir, Jabbar, Ali Shan, Nadeem and Hamid.

FAISALABAD: The Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) said on Tuesday it had received five runaway children. The CPWB’s Syed Ali Abid Naqvi said the children were found at General Bus Stand, Sargodha Road, GTS Chowk and Railway Station. They are Amir, Jabbar, Ali Shan, Nadeem and Hamid. Naqvi said the bureau had already been providing education to 30 children. He said the CPWB continued to look for the families. He said 10 children – Zar Hamza, Faisal, Ahsan, Ghulam Abbas, Amir, Jabbar, Muzammil, Umair, Ali Shan and Chand Ali – had been handed over to their families in the last couple of days.
