Skill development: Teacher training schedule announced

BHAKKAR: The Directorate of Staff Development (DSD) has issued a schedule for the training of teachers appointed in various districts of the Punjab, District Training and Sports Centre Head Malik Feroz Hussain said on Saturday. He said that the teachers appointed in grades 9 to 16 will be trained after their appointment under various categories in Bhakkar and other districts of the province. The training will start from March 14 in several schools in Bhakkar and Kalore Kot tehsils. He said the training will continue for four weeks. Training classes will start at 8 in morning and end at 2:30pm every day. He said that the educators would have to attend all sessions otherwise their contracts could be cancelled. They must be present at the assigned venues on time, those who will be late will be considered absent, Hussain told The Express Tribune.
