
Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz on Thursday said the federal government was making all out efforts to achieve lasting peace in the country. He said that currently the government was holding dialogue with around 50 to 60 Taliban groups.
“There is need to give a chance to the ongoing dialogue process for achieving the requisite results,” he said outside Holy Family Hospital, where he came to meet Sabzi Mandi blast victims. Earlier he spoke to the three injured men and distributed cheques for Rs75,000 to each of them on behalf of the government. The MNA directed the hospital administration to provide all possible medical facilities and treatment to the injured.
The Rawalpindi commissioner, district coordination officer, regional police officer and others were present.
