Honour killing: Man kills sister-in-law over alleged affair

Killed his sister-in-law, cousin in Mardan, accusing them of having an illicit affair, later surrendering to police.

KATLANG: A person killed his sister-in-law and cousin on Tuesday in the Chapalabad, Katlang area of Mardan, accusing them of having an illicit affair, later surrendering to the police. Muhammad Hussain told the police that his brother Sardar Hussain worked in Saudi Arabia and he was taking care of his brother’s wife and children back in Pakistan. He added that on Tuesday he saw his cousin, Fazal Amin, scale the wall of his brother’s house. Upon this, the accused rushed to the house and gunned down his sister-in-law and his cousin after he allegedly found them in an objectionable state. The case is still under investigation.
